Trap Shooting
Trap shooting is an exciting competitive sport where participants test their skill, accuracy, and split-second timing by shooting clay targets launched at speeds of 40+ mph. Open to all students in grades 9–12, this sport welcomes both beginners and experienced shooters—no prior experience is necessary to join.
The season spans 6–8 weeks, September–October, featuring regular practices to develop and refine technique and competitions to put your skills to the test. Trap shooting builds focus, discipline, and confidence while fostering camaraderie among teammates. Whether you're looking to try something new or refine your shooting expertise, Trap shooting offers a challenging and rewarding experience for all skill levels. Join us for a thrilling opportunity to develop your marksmanship and compete in a fast-paced, high-energy sport with a great group of students!
Requirements
Enrolled in at least one FFA/Ag class during the current year
ASB Card
FFA Dues
Family provided shotgun
Registration packets with permission slips available at Back-to-Business Days
Practices at Old Skagit Gun Club
Competitions held at Twin City Sportsmans Club & Old Skagit Gun Club
