The goal of curriculum adoption is to support the district mission ("Every student graduates with the knowledge and skills for future learning and success.") by:

• Assuring that quality instruction is provided using effective instructional programs.

• Building collaborative professional growth toward common goals, for all district staff.

• Researching best practices in learning and instruction to identify common learning targets and common interventions in support of student success.

• Coordinating between our S-WSD schools and with State and Federal agencies to insure equity of opportunity and compliance with regulatory requirements.
