7:41 p.m. October 28 UPDATE: Phone service has been restored.
11 a.m. UPDATE: A Fiber Optic cable has been damaged somewhere in western Washington and the estimated time of repair of the cable is unknown at this time. There are several agencies and businesses affected by this outage all throughout western Washington. It is very unlikely that this will be resolved by the end of business today.
The Sedro-Woolley School District phone system is currently down. As a result, you are not able to call into the district buildings. The buildings are able to call out, just cannot receive calls. We do not have an estimated time of when the phone will be restored.
All schools will remain open, and staff are continuing to operate as smoothly as possible under these circumstances. We appreciate your understanding and patience.
Mark your calendars: Monday, November 4 marks the end of the first quarter for our middle and high school students. Remind your students to finish strong! Turn in any missing work as soon as possible!
