🎉 Shoutout to the incredible Sedro-Woolley High School Sports Medicine Team! 🎉 These students are on the sidelines, supporting athletes and gaining hands-on experience that prepares them for future careers in healthcare. From football to wrestling, they’re building skills, creating bonds, and making a huge impact. Girls Basketball Coach Kenneth Crawford said it best: “Our student trainers are a very important part of our success. They demonstrate a growing knowledge of athletic care, are consistent and diligent in what they do, and take pride in their work. Sedro-Woolley High School’s Sports Medicine Team: Tyson Slater, Samantha Medina Mondragon, Kera Eerkes, Tianna Benoit, Savannah Evans and Andreanna “Anna” Evans.
Zoe Abbott has been named the December Sedro-Woolley Rotary Student of the Month. Zoe is the daughter of Greg and Angel Abbott of Sedro-Woolley. Zoe maintains a 3.6 GPA while being actively involved in Sedro-Woolley High School. She is a member of our Varsity Volleyball team (4 years, lettering 1 year) as well as our Varsity Fastpitch team (3 years) and is a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes club. She loves participating in school events like Homecoming, school dances, and attending home sporting events. Outside of school, Zoe enjoys spending time with family and friends, going on walks with her mom, and most recently found a new hobby; doing her own nails. She volunteers at Central Elementary and is currently the assistant coach with our Cascade Middle School volleyball team. During the summer months, Zoe works at local farmers markets selling strawberries as well as holds a receptionist position for a local salon. After graduation, Zoe plans on attending Evergreen Beauty College to specialize in hair coloring. She hopes to own her own salon one day. Congratulations Zoe!

🎉 Cheyanne Schuh is the Sedro-Woolley Soroptimist Student of the Month for September 2024! Cheyanne, a senior at Sedro-Woolley High School, enjoys hiking, spending time with friends and family, and playing with her three dogs. Her favorite recent adventure was hiking in the Rocky Mountains! 🏔️🐕 🔧 CTE classes at SWHS have opened Cheyanne’s eyes to new career possibilities. Inspired by welding classes with her favorite teacher, Mr. Goss, she’s considering either pursuing business and accounting in college or becoming a certified welder at a trade school. 🎉 Carin Bunch is the Sedro-Woolley Soroptimist Student of the Month for September 2024! Carin, a senior at Sedro-Woolley High School, loves spending time with family, cooking, baking, and riding horses. 🐎🍪 She is Secretary of the SWHS FFA and has been a Girl Scout for 10 years. 🌱 CTE classes at SWHS have guided Carin to dive deeper into fields of interest, applying her knowledge toward future goals. 🎉 Mason Requa is the Sedro-Woolley Soroptimist Student of the Month for October 2024! Mason, a senior at Sedro-Woolley High School, enjoys time with family and friends, playing piano, snowboarding, and spending time with his puppy, Howie. 🐾🎹 Over the years, Mason has played football, basketball, and track and field, while being involved in Teen Court Club, National Honor Society, and umpiring for Sedro-Woolley Little League, earning 40+ hours of community service. 🛠️ CTE classes at SWHS have equipped Mason with essential skills like leadership, time management, and critical thinking.
