To honor this achievement, join us for a celebratory parade on Metcalf Street between State Street and Ferry Street, followed by a gathering at Hammer Heritage Square. 🗓 Date: May 30, 2024 ⏰ Time: Parade starts at 3 p.m. Event Impact: Expect road closures and traffic impacts from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM. ZOEY BACUS has been named May Student of the Month for the Rotary Club of Sedro-Woolley. She is the daughter of Stacy Bacus of Sedro-Woolley. Zoey maintains a 3.8 GPA while being actively involved in Sedro-Woolley High School. She has participated in Varsity Soccer all 4 years of high school, lettering each year, as well as holding the title of Team Captain 2 years in a row. She is a 2-year member of the National Honor Society. Zoey is currently enrolled in Northwest Career and Technical Academy for the medical science program, and upon completion, she will be a Certified Nursing Assistant. Outside of school, Zoey enjoys spending time with her friends and family, playing soccer, being outside, and going to the lake. Zoey has previously worked at Tulip Town. After graduation, Zoey plans to continue her education at Pacific Lutheran University. Her end game is to become a Registered Nurse. Congratulations Zoey!

He has lettered 4 times in baseball, 3 times in tennis, and twice in basketball. Gibson was awarded Athlete of the Week by the Skagit Valley Herald for baseball. Gibson is a member of our Fellowship of Christian Athletes Club and is currently attending Northwest Career & Technical Academy part time, where he is studying the basics of firefighting. Outside of school, Gibson enjoys hanging out with friends and family, playing ping pong, working out at the gym, training for baseball and camping. He currently holds a delivery driving position at Cascade Pizza and volunteers his free time for our Sedro-Woolley Little League, as an Umpire. After graduation, Gibson will be attending Skagit Valley College to play baseball, and will study fire science. He hopes to work for the Mount Vernon Fire Department upon graduating from SVC. Rylan was awarded a Leader in Sportsmanship Award for the Northwest Conference in 2023. Outside of school, Rylan enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing softball, playing soccer, hiking, camping and playing with her dog. She has grown up participating in youth softball and soccer, and now spends her extra time helping coach these young athletes. Rylan currently works at Railroad Pub & Pizza as a server. After graduation, Rylan will be attending Skagit Valley College to play softball, and will pursue a Business Management degree. Congratulations Rylan!
